Oddly, when you complete the wizard, you get a second icon in the system tray for OneDrive for Business, just as was the case when the clients were separate.Īnd when you open File Explorer, you will see that each account-the newly renamed OneDrive – Personal and OneDrive – -are both available in the navigation pane on the left. As part of the wizard that appears, you can now choose which folders to sync too, just like you can in OneDrive consumer. To add your OneDrive for Business account, just click “Add a business account” and then provide your credentials as prompted. On the Accounts pane, you will see a new “Add an account” section. To find it, right-click OneDrive in the system tray and choose Settings. Both allow for documents and files to be synced and shared between teams. On the surface, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online are similar applications that enable collaboration within Office 365. And now you can access both account types from the same UI. It can be used to store and sync your important files, such as Documents, Pictures, and Desktop folders with the cloud. Pick a file or folder, right-click, and then choose Share. You can share either individual files, or a whole folder. Microsoft has supported both consumer and business OneDrive accounts in its OneDrive mobile apps for some time now.
